Firstly, DON'T PANIC.
Secondly, DO NOT START THE CAR!!!!!
Generally petrol stations work the same way, just the pumps at them can differ slightly.
You'll pull up to a pump.
Check on your dashboard to notice what side of the car your fuel filler cap is.
Next to the petrol icon on your dashboard will be a triangle pointing to the side where the filler cap is.
Select the type of fuel you intend to use.
Some fuel stations require you to select whether you want to pay at the pump or at the kiosk. Others may be pay at the pump only.
Take the hose from the pump and place it fully into the fuel filler area and then ensure that the previous reading has cleared from the screen on the pump before attempting to fuel up.
Once the pump has zeroed then pull on the pump level and begin filling.
You can choose to stop when you want or you can keep the level pulled until the fuel tank is full.
The pump should automatically stop when the tank is full.
Replace your filler cap if you have one.
Ensure you LOCK YOU CAR.
Take a note of the fuel pump you are at usually a number at the top of the pump and then let the staff know what pump you intend paying for.
